.ORG.HK Naming Rules

The label before .org.hk can use letters, digits and hyphens. It must begin and end with a letter or digit, cannot place hyphens in both the third and fourth positions, and the complete domain cannot exceed 63 characters.

Expiry and Release

An expired .ORG.HK domain is not automatically available. A registry black-out period may allow reinstatement before public release and can last up to 90 calendar days under HKIRC's published policy.

The acquisition attempt is carried out through the appropriate registrar or registry channel on a best-effort basis. Success is not guaranteed and remains subject to release, documentary approval and competing demand.

A .ORG.HK backorder starts at €50. If several Backorders Domains customers placed a backorder on the same successfully caught name, a 7-day proxy bid auction decides the winner.
