Backorder a .COM.BR Domain — €50
Why backorder an expired .COM.BR domain?
.COM.BR is the best-known commercial namespace under Brazil's .BR country code. It gives a business a clearly Brazilian address and is used across retail, services, media, software and other commercial activity.
Strong Portuguese keywords, short brand names and useful city-service combinations are often already held. When one is removed for non-renewal or another qualifying reason, a backorder gives you a structured way to follow Registro.br's release procedure instead of repeatedly checking by hand.
What .COM.BR is for
Registro.br lists .COM.BR among its generic categories for commercial activities. It is available to eligible individuals and legal entities rather than being reserved for one licensed profession.
- Local clarity: visitors can see that the site serves the Brazilian market.
- Commercial purpose: the category fits companies, independent operators and projects carrying out commercial activity.
- Established inventory: older expired names may have useful recognition or links, but their history must be checked before acquisition.
We also support .net.br. Registro.br classifies it as a generic commercial category too; it is not limited to network operators.
Who can register .COM.BR domains?
Registro.br's rules allow registration by a natural person or legal entity that is legally represented or established in Brazil. Brazilian holders use valid CPF or CNPJ details. The registry publishes a separate procedure for foreign legal entities, including the appointment of a legally established representative in Brazil and documentary requirements.
Holder data must be real and current. Eligibility and documentary approval remain registry decisions, so confirm the intended registrant details before placing a backorder.
Registro.br's release process
Many Brazilian names do not follow a simple first-come drop at a predictable second. Registro.br uses a scheduled Processo de Liberação for names removed after non-renewal, cancellation, invalid holder data or other defined reasons.
- Application window: candidates must apply while the published release period is open.
- One eligible candidate: the name can be assigned to that candidate after other pending requirements are resolved.
- Several candidates: the name may enter Registro.br's competitive process with successive financial offers, or remain held for a later release round under the registry rules.
- Late activity: offers near the end of a competitive process can extend its closing time.
The acquisition attempt is carried out through the appropriate registrar or registry channel. Registry scheduling, eligibility checks and the registry's own competitive procedure can affect timing and final availability.
Pricing and Backorders Domains auctions
A .COM.BR backorder starts at €50. If only one Backorders Domains customer requested the name and we acquire it, the platform price remains €50 before applicable taxes or registry-specific charges. If several customers requested the same domain, our 7-day proxy bid auction determines the winner. Any Registro.br competitive process is separate from our customer auction.
Check rights and history before bidding
Review Brazilian trademarks, company names and prior use before ordering. Registro.br operates the SACI-Adm dispute system for contested .BR registrations made after October 2010. Also inspect archived pages, backlinks, DNS history and reputation so you understand what comes with the expired name.
