We Are Now Catching .EU, .CH, .LI and .FI Expired Domains
14 Oct 2026 · 18:38
We have expanded our expired domain catching service with four additional European country-code extensions: .EU, .CH, .LI and .FI.
Each extension now has a dedicated backorder page with the current eligibility, registration and deletion rules to review before placing an order.
.EU Domain Backorders
.EU is operated by EURid and is intended for eligible citizens, residents, companies and organisations connected with the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway. Deleted .EU domains enter a 40-day quarantine period before returning to general availability if they are not restored.
.CH Domain Backorders
.CH is Switzerland's country-code domain, operated by Switch on behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Communications. It is open to individuals and legal entities without a general Swiss residence requirement. After deletion, a .CH name enters a 40-day transition period during which the former holder may still recover it.
.LI Domain Backorders
.LI is Liechtenstein's country-code domain and is operated by Switch through NIC Liechtenstein on behalf of the Office for Communications. Registration is open internationally. A deleted name passes through an official protected transition period before it can become available again.
.FI Domain Backorders
.FI is Finland's country-code domain and is operated by Traficom. Individuals, companies and organisations can register without a Finnish presence requirement. After expiry or deletion, a one-month grace period gives the holder an opportunity to restore the name before release.
How Pricing Works
As with our other supported extensions, each backorder starts at a flat €50. If you are the only customer to backorder a domain and we catch it, the domain is yours at that price, before any applicable taxes or registry-specific charges.
If multiple customers backorder the same domain, the name goes to a fair 7-day proxy bid auction.
All acquisition attempts are best-effort and remain subject to the applicable registry rules, holder recovery periods, eligibility requirements and actual domain availability.
